I’m a freelance artist and graphic designer creating original artwork rooted in visual storytelling. My work focuses on pieces that capture emotion, personality, and recognizable moments rather than polished perfection. I’m drawn to the kinds of images people immediately feel — because they reflect real experiences, quiet humor, resilience, and moments that linger.
I create across multiple formats, including illustrated greeting cards, character-driven designs, select typography pieces, and printable wall art. Some pieces are narrative and expressive, others are graphic or text-forward, but all are built with intention and clarity of voice.
Many of my cards are built around my original Choose Your Sentiment concept — a format I developed to allow a single piece of artwork to support multiple messages and occasions without feeling generic or mass-produced. The illustration remains constant, while the sentiment adapts, giving the work flexibility without losing its personality or purpose.
After retiring from a long career in military and public service, I now focus my energy on building a body of work rooted in observation, empathy, and lived experience. My background shapes how I see people, moments, and emotional nuance — and that perspective carries through the work, whether the piece is humorous, tender, or quietly reflective.
My goal is to create artwork that feels personal, thoughtful, and visually engaging — work people connect with because it feels honest, familiar, and considered.
